FAQ

Everything you'd ask before buying.

What does "omnidirectional" mean?

It reads a barcode from any direction — your staff just sweep the item past the window instead of lining up a beam. Much faster at a busy till.

Does it read QR codes?

Yes — 1D barcodes and 2D codes like QR, so it handles loyalty and mobile coupons too.

Is it hands-free?

Yes. It sits on the counter in presentation mode, leaving both hands free to bag and handle items.

Can I take it off the base?

Yes. Lift the scanner off its base and scan cordless — handy for a case of water or a sack of rice you would rather not lift onto the counter. Set it back on the base and it is hands-free again.

How does it connect?

The base plugs into your JET station by USB — plug-and-play with JET Retail, no drivers to install. Lift the scanner off and it keeps working cordless.
